All About Us
At Whole Root Healing LLC, our mission is rooted in understanding the unique nature of every individual, symbolized by "the tree and its roots."

Like a tree, our whole self is shaped by personal history and familial influences, providing strength and stability. We believe in healing across all dimensions—spiritual, emotional, physical, mental, and financial. Through awareness and a growth mindset, we promote change, patience, self-care, and the journey to becoming our best selves.

Our founder, Kenisha Henderson, actively supports the community by serving on the Advisory Board for Jacob Way, a DFW nonprofit assisting families facing childhood cancer.

Looking ahead, we aim to drive community development by offering affordable, accessible whole-health resources and support.

Her undergraduate study abroad experience in South Africa profoundly shaped her career and clinical philosophy, guided by the Ubuntu principle: “I am who I am because of who we all are.”

She also provides therapy for seniors at an assisted living facility through IHEARU, an organization dedicated to senior mental health. Additionally, she serves on the Mental Health Advisory Board for Jacob Way, a nonprofit supporting families affected by childhood cancer.
Kenisha’s professional journey includes roles at Jesse Brown VA Medical Center, case management for nursing homes, and supporting children with disabilities at Aetna Better Health. Her massage therapy expertise spans personal injury clients, chiropractic care, NFL combine players, post-surgery care, infants, and aromatherapy.
